Maplegrove Inn Policies

Welcome to The Maplegrove Inn, we appreciate your business and look forward to your stay. In order to create a relaxing and enjoyable environment while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all guests, we ask that you read and abide to the following policies:

SMOKING:
The Maplegrove Inn is a non-smoking property. Please do not smoke in our rooms, indoor common areas or anywhere on our grounds. A $250 CAD cleaning fee will be charged for smoking violations.
The use of candles or incense in the rooms is prohibited.

COMMUNICATIONS:
We offer complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the inn. Login information will be provided at check-in.

CHECK-IN TIMES:
Check-in time is 3 PM to 7PM. Please call us directly at 506-882-1854 to request exceptions.

CHECK-OUT TIME:
Check-out time is 10 AM unless previous arrangements have been made.

TAX:
All rooms are charged a 15% harmonized sales tax.

DEPOSITS:
When you book, you will be charged 100% of your total room charge plus 15% tax in order to complete the reservation.

CANCELLATIONS and CHANGES:
If your travel plans change and you must cancel or change your reservation: Call or email us at least 14 days prior to your arrival date (60 days if the entire inn is booked for the same event) for a cheerful refund of your deposit less a $15 service charge per room booked. If you call or email LESS THAN 14 days (or 60 days as noted above), not including the day of arrival, No refund will be issued. However, we will be pleased to use your deposit to confirm another stay for you (of at least the same duration) within 60 days of your planned arrival date. Rescheduled bookings are not eligible for a refund or additional rescheduling.

QUIET HOURS:
Our quiet hours are between 11:00pm and 7:00am. If you enter/exit the inn between these hours, please be mindful of other guests who are sleeping.

WATER USE:
Because water is one of our most important natural resources, we ask that you use it responsibly. A towel on the floor or tub means it will be replaced, a towel on the rack will be used for another day. Please do not place wet towels on the bed or antique furniture.

HOUSEKEEPING:
Due to being owner-operators, we complete every aspect of our business including housekeeping. Housekeeping room services are typically not completed for short stays of 1-2 days. For longer stays, housekeeping room services will NOT be provided if a do not disturb sign is placed on the door. We will tidy the room on Day 3 and replenish room supplies including towels and toiletries. Regardless of length of stay, please do not allow trash to accumulate in your room, especially food items. Please empty room trash daily and place in bins located in the upstairs hallway and reception area. We pride ourselves on maintaining an impeccably clean and inviting home, please contact us at once with any housekeeping concerns.

DRESS CODE:
Guests must wear shirts and shoes when in common areas

PETS:
Unfortunately no pets are allowed.

CHILDREN:
Children over the age of 5 years are welcome and are counted as a full guest in terms of room occupancy.

DINNER SERVICE: At this time dinner service is not provided at the inn. Please make sure that you have planned accordingly. A list of restaurants within a 30 minute drive from the inn is available upon request.
